06 dies when turning
#2
welcome to the forums! how about giving us some more info: does the car give any check engine lights? does it crank back up without any problem? is it stock? is she turning while moving? is she turning to full lock? are you the original owner?

I was hoping there was a resolution posted in the thread that MoneyShot linked to but so far, no.
Swap cars and see if there's more info you can provide us. Any CEL's coming up? I'd suggest having Autozone or whomever pull any codes (for free) for you. I'm suspecting an electrical issue and the S197's are notorious for bad OE batteries and alternators.
It's strange that it's in turns only. Almost makes you want to think mechanical movement of an electrical connection.

new info
Only happens on right turns at low rpms... no check engine light. car is stock exept a k&n. fires right back up no problem. also says it hesitates then surges sometimes on regular take off with no turns. got me completely lost. haha

Without more info, this is tough.
There's a TSB for the fuel pumps on these S197's where you'll get hesitation AFTER prolonged cruising (due to buildup of air bubbles in the fuel pump). I'm not sure how or even IF that relates to stalling on right turns but your latest info on hesitation forces me to mention the TSB.
IMO, remove the K&N since it's barely gaining you 3 or 4 RWHP (CAI's require a tune to make any power on these engines) and is probably causing you to run a bit lean, despite no CEL. Put the stock airbox on and disconect the battery for about 20-30 minutes. Afterwards, it may take a few miles for the Adaptive Learning to collect enough data for the driveability to even out. If that doesn't fix the problem then at least you ruled out the stand-alone CAI.
