Default Gt intakes on v6

Im new to the s197 platform i got the v6, i am curios as to whether or not you can install a gt air intake manifold on the v6? would it be worth the time and effort to modify it? and if so has anyone done this?.
also is it possible to bore the stock heads over without purchasing anything new?

Also is there another intake manifold that would fit/work better?

Are you actually saying intake manifold or do you mean the air intake and the TB? Because I will seriously **** myself laughing if you are actually suggesting that someone put a V8 intake manifold on a V6.

On a more serious note....

As for the actual intake tube and the TB it could probably be done, but there is not really a reason to. Aftermarket cold air intakes allow more airflow then our cars will ever need, and you can buy ported/polished TBs with allow for better flow as well. No need to modify a GT intake when we have CAIs and ported/polished TBs.

If you compare the V6 TB with the V8 TB, they're (also) significantly physically different.

That's correct - the 4.0 is a 4" round throttle body and the GT has an oval shaped throttle body. So the air intake isn't compatible - assuming that the OP really meant to ask about a CAI
