Default We Need a Turbo/Super For Sale Thread...

So, in the next 6 months, I have to make a massive decision. I'm going to be making the jump to forced induction, and I'll be scouring for used kits. However, I can't find any sites that are dedicated to used forced induction kits...

May this be one?

They show up in the marketplace from time to time but not often, since it isn't everyday someone sells a supercharger! Check eBay, and the marketplace on here daily!

I've been thinking about a Vortech kit in the near future. Possible group buy? I thought I saw a few others interested

There is a Vortech kit down in the for sale section. Its for a 4.6 though So idk if I could be made to work for the 4.0 for a reasonable price.

I've been considering buying a used supercharger separate and doing my own duct work, but then again, fuel injectors aren't cheap, are they?

Well that isn't too bad at all, and I bet my friend can swing me a discount if he orders through his father...

Anybody know how much an intercooler costs, or how hard they are to make? Yes, I have access to a physicist to help me get the maximum performance from an air to air

EDIT: WOO! 300th post

If I were you, I would just wait for a used kit. That is what I did. I know I told you I may have mine up for sale soon, but that wont be the case now. I'll have my build finished hopefully sometime this month, possibly into early next month.

Side note, although people may tell you the kit is complete, you will most likely have to buy a few misc. parts. I would set aside an extra grand for you in case you need extra parts. I had to spend about $600 in extra parts (filters, catch can, wideband, boost controller, hoses, etc.). You should need substantially less buying a supercharger, but I am the type of person that buys everything to effectively manage the new power, as soon as I can
