Ticking noise...
 

Upon start up of my 07 v6 i can hear a ticking noise coming from the engine compartment and after maybe not even 5 min it stops. Any ideas?

My '07 v6 makes a similar sound but I hear it coming from the instrument cluster area. There's another thread that talks about this same noise I hear:

Can you describe the ticking noise? Fast? Slow? Have you listened to it with the hood up and out of the passenger compartment?

its not the gauge noise but i have that to. sounds like a ticking clock, about that speed. i have had the hood up and started the car and still cant pinpoint it. i may get my dad or a friend to help
