Hood pins needed?
Hey guys-
So after my run in w a trailer hitch I decided to go for the cervinis type 4 w extractors... the first one the shop ordered was damaged in shipping so cervinis is shipping another... but im wondering if i actually "NEED" to order hood pins... if they have any advantage other than just the cosmetic? thx in adv

"need"? maybe not "need". But, would you want the hood to fly up under high speed?
They're there for a reason: to secure the hood in place in addition to the stock hood latch. Those that are for "appearance reasons" and non-functional are junk.
I'm using a fiberglass steeda hood, and it flexes a lot on the highway, especially around truck. But I dont worry about it coming loose and flying up into the windshield.

I picked up a CDC/Chip Foose Stallion aluminum hood on close out for $350 shipped, painted and brand new! I don't no if they have any left but for anyone interested it maybe worth looking into. Looks like the hood on pascal's LL but without the hood scoop.
Edit:
Looks like all they have left are primerd ones for $450.
