Default Potentual tranny prob

Hey guys-

Ive been running my t5 for 3 years and 20000 miles. Just put RP Synchromax in it about a week ago. tho it is infrequent and happened with the stock fluid as well, occasionally when shifting into 3rd at high load ill get a sound out of the tranny that i dont like... a high pitched grinding. I dont know if thats just a typical t5 observation, or if im just being paranoid.

Also, the RP synchromax has improved every aspect of tranny performance otherwise- I have not missed a shift, throws are easier, and the gates are easier. The third gear lockout issue has been signifigantly lessened. Maybe im simply forcing the stick too far forward without the resistance im used to? idk

Thoughts/ advice welcomed guys

Mine used to make a similar sound that you are describing slamming it into 3rd, the T5 is poor quality to begin with and has a track record of doing stuff like that. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
