I'll see if I can get some videos of his car. It might be tomorrow though.

i can give you my experiences...

first i put JBA Dual Exhaust Kit with H Pipe on the car with Borla Stinger Exhaust...
RESULT=sounded very aggressive but one the highway at any speed, DRONE CITY!

So..I tore out the entire interior and sound proofed the floorboard, trunk, sides, etc....
RESULT= I lost most of the bass from my trunk mounted speakers, but still DRONE CITY!

So... I put on magnaflow bullet resonators (mounted staggered as everyone suggested on here)
RESULT=DRONE CITY!

Finally, I took the Borla Stingers off and put on GT Muffler Take offs. The Stingers are still in my shop for sale...
RESULT=lost 60% of the aggressiveness, but no drone! Thank God! at this point, I would never want to hear that sound again.

best of luck to you!
jd

thanks for the help jd, I have heard that drone is the worst. Although with the GT take-offs as I understand they are constructed to prevent drone. I really love the sound of the GTA mufflers and the Flowmaster A/T mufflers

i will say.. if i decide to ever go dual, i will use the flowmaster a/t mufflers.

right now, ive got one from a gt on my v6. i think it sounds pretty good. idk if they build them different for v6 and v8, i doubt it though. either way, it sounds good to me.

straight pipes being no muffler, not the absence of an H or X pipe. Mufflerless exhaust will make your mustang sound like a civic, which is a banable offence here at MF. Good choice with the GT take offs. I have them as well it i think it has the best medium between stock quiet and borla loud. Seems like just passenger side GT muffler from the factory would have been an easy enough thing ford to do. Up until 2011 it seems like ford was punishing your for not buying a GT

EDIT: reading OP first post I see he was talking about what you were talking about and not no muffler. I have heard a lot of people refer to "straight-pipe" as no muffler.

sorry for not clarifying! Yeah I mean pipes running from the stock cats without a mid-pipe. Literally "straight pipes". I really love the sound of the American Thunder mufflers, but I think they really need an H-pipe to sound good.

I'll be running a stock h-pipe & cats from a GT, having resonators welded in, then having some pipes bent into muffler deletes.
