Please let me know if that works for you as I'm having a similar problem with my 2006 v6, and getting frustrated.
Back in summer on a few times on the really hot-humid days, the car would idle erratically between 300 - 900rpm when pushing the clutch in at a stop sign, into a turn, or at a light. Occasionally it would stall - that's fun going into a turn or off ramp.
It got worse this fall. I had to replace the MAF because the car start idling very high on its own to the point that I didn't need to use the gas pedal. Occasional idle problems and stalling continued.
Last week I had the clutch replaced (slave cyclinder leaked onto clutch), and idle problems got really bad. Took it back to the shop and they found on a Tech Bulletin that the throttle body most likely need to be cleaned. Also I believe they "reset the idle timing" (bad at cars so apologies for the explanation) because the computer was unable to relearn the idle setting after the battery was disconnected.
Ran beautifully afterwards for 5 days - idling strong at 900rpm. Then today it's back to stalling randomly and idling between 400 - 1200rpm.

It almost sounds like a dirty TB. These S197's are VERY touchy when the TB gets the slightest amount of varnish/dirt buildup. It's pretty simple to unbolt, clean and reinstall using the same gasket. But be sure to get a cleaner that won't remove the finish off the TB.

Any update on this? I am having the same issue with my car. It periodically dies on me when I put it in neutral. It probably happens once a day. The weird thing is that it just started doing this a few months ago. I have not changed anything. I have a C&L CAI with the 87 street tune from AM. My air filter is not dirty either.

Mine still has issues. WOT lean even with upping the value on the SCT to as high as it would go, and dipping idle when moving forward at low speed, say at stop-lights.
Afraid Bama and such can't account for everything that might be off slightly from quirks from their baseline vehicles to yours.
I've just resigned myself to the fact I'm probably stuck with running a lower octane tune until I can bring it into an actual tuning shop. Frankly I think my pump itself is weak.
And I've done everything possible aside from replacing the pump. Fuel filter, yanked the CAI multiple times to find any leak, TB cleaning, MAF cleaning, even replaced the MAF itself. Drove me nuts too.
