Default Rear gear question

so I'm looking for my gears now..I've decided on 3.73's with the ford racing TLOK system. question is, since I'm replacing the gears do I have to also purchase this?

If you are replacing the differential then yes plus you want to make sure everything in there is brand new, would hate for a bearing to give out a 1000 miles after the new parts were installed. I would highly recommend first however to try and find a 8.8 rearend instead of using the 7.5, I just found one for $350 with 4.10's. You will spend around 7-800 for the parts and install unless you can do the work yourself. I am first hand advice on this, I built my 7.5 and now it has a gear whine and ever since I regret not just getting an 8.8.

Worst modding decision I ever made was trying to build the 7.5. I broke it with Richmond gears and the LPW girdle to strengthen it and only had a set of drag radials and tune at the time.

It cost me more to build the 7.5 than it cost to buy the 8.8 and swap it in
