Default world class t5 or non-world class?

always hear people say they use RP synchromax (MTF) in their tranny and it's smooth. but also the manual says we should use Mercon ATF. some people say using MTF will damage the synchros

it is said that world class T5 should use ATF
and non-world class use MTF(gear oil?)

It's a world class on our S197 v6, is it?
googled around but can't find it out.

The answer no it's not, it we seem like we got the crap left over from the real t-5, the 3650 weighs somewhere around 100lbs and our t5 weighs around 70 or so. It's a horrible transmission. When I changed my fluid I used Pennzoil Syncromesh.

any link/source about this?
so you are saying that using MTF (like RP synchromax) may possibly a better solution than ATF?

my issue is I just changed tranny fluid, used Mercon ATF, but after that the synchros seems not working. very hard to shift.
(also done my short shifter installation, so not sure if it is the ATF, that's why i'm asking here..)

just don't wanna risk damaging the synchros by using MTF

RUN from RP. I tried it and almost fried my t5.

Idk about the pennzoil, but I used Amsoil ATF and its been awesome.

T5 is around 75 and the 3650 is more towards 125 or so. Its in the manual for the adapter plate installation and I know it is 50 pounds more then the T5.
