Plastic thermostat housing claims another victim
#23
The repair is really easy. If you are NA especially. All it takes is 3 bolts to remove the thermostat (make sure you look to see how it is mounted for when you put it in the new one). Three more bolts to remove the plastic housing - once you have the bolts undone just pull it straight up. Make sure you don't lost the retainer rings for the sensor. Put it back together and hook up the hose again. Fill and done.
It is about a half hour job - unless you have the Xcharger like I had. Then you have to take the blower and lower intake off the car to get to one bolt.
