Trading 08 Exhaust with 06 Exhaust?

Default Trading 08 Exhaust with 06 Exhaust?
Alright, my friend hates his loud exhaust (don't ask me, also he bought it used so the previous owner added it)
now i have a stock 06 exhaust, will the 2 exhausts be compatible? I don't know what exhaust he has, is there anything on it that identifies it?

Look for a brand name on the muffler or tip? And yes an 08 exhaust will fit an 06.
