Would this system work to convert my v6 pony to a true dual exhaust?

Default V6 Dual exhaust installation

Just to be sure I get the right clamps I want to know what you used where the x-pipe meets the down pipe with the cats. I found a dynomax manual showing that the x-pipe should use 2 1/4" there and 2 1/2" where the

I found a dynomax installation guide for the X-Pipe you recommended to use for the conversion. It specifies that where the downpipe\catalytic converters meet the X-Pipe to use 2 1/4" band clamps. You say that 2 1/2" worked fine for you?

Sorry to no get back. Been ill. You are right. Follow the sheet from Dynamax. Remember I did this earlier so my memory may not be 100%. Enjoy your new exhaust. I did and still enjoy the nice rumble.

No problem at all. Sorry you've been ill. Hope you get feeling better soon bud. As for the dual exhaust conversion my x-pipe and the rest of my parts should arrive tomorrow. I will be sure to take lots of pictures. :P
