Stroker kit and supercharger?

Thanks Dandy. This new one will be getting a turbo, the Xcharger won't fit the 3.7 unfortunately. Miss the scream of the Xcharger already.
This is my old car - 2006 convertible with the Xcharger Xtreme. 201,000 miles on it and running 12 second passes when I sold it.
Don't get hung up on the chase for RWHP numbers. Unless all you are concerned about is showing a dyno sheet it doesn't really matter. My car - with the extra weight of the convertible and the extra weight from the 6 point roll cage - didn't dyno high, but like I said was running mid 12's with no problems.

Now I'm looking to do heads, cam and xcharger. Heads and cam From ssm. Looks like about 50 hp, and costs like 2200 I think. X-charger is what? 6100 w/o tuner? So I think I might hit close to 400 hp with that setup. Quoted install was $1400. So $9700 total. Who votes trade in for a 5.0?

I don't know, I keep flip flopping. Jimc is right though about chasing numbers. I try not to be materialistic as well. I think my car with the x-charger would be plenty for me. I think if I just get the hi-po plus w/o tuner and try to get AM's 6% discount, I can be happy with that. What do you think Jimc? You have experience with the x-charger. And what about that x-charger scream?!

Nothing beats the scream of the Xcharger! Everyone always said they didn't even have to look at the track to see who was making a pass, the sound gave it away.
You will still need the tunes of course, and I see you have the SCT already. AM does tunes for the Xcharger now.
The Xcharger won't give you the biggest numbers on the dyno sheet, but the low end torque is perfect for daily driving. Power on tap as soon as you need it. And the Xtreme was good enough to get my convertible with its extra weight into the mid 12's.

Oh that's cool. I have been fighting to find anyway to get a discount off of it. I tried AM but they can't sell it w/o tuner, I tried steeda where it SAID 4300 but they were like oh sorry we didn't update the price... Argh! Do you guys know of anyway to get any kind of discounted price or am I just gonna have to pony up? Haha
