Default 2005 Mustang, is this normal? Need Help!

My 2005 mustang V6 is acting a little strange after i tuned it again with my Bama SCT Tuner. I returned the car to stock ECM and the speedometer cluster still does this. Upon startup the needles drop below zero and then pop up to the actuall reading. Also the RPM's drop to about 500 after startup now, the problem is this came out of nowhere so im clueless. Is this normal? HELP please.

The car seems to drive normal. It is just on startup when the needles drop below zero that is concerning me. I will check with a GPS soon to see if the MPH gauge is correct, which i believe it is.

Are you saying that it didn't do that before?

To be honest i really never noticed it before, but then again i never really paid much attention to it. If i had to say, I would say that it did NOT do that before though. However i did just find a updated firmware for my Bama Tuner that was released several months ago, i will update and see if that solved the problem.

My Stang isn't my DD so today, when we went for a cruise, I noticed the same thing. No big deal.

I don't recall mine doing that during start up, but be happy all of your gauges work. =-)
My RPM, thermostat and gas guages are not working properly due to the stepper motors going out.
