Ivan it has nothing to do with the number of cylinders. With the timing chain on the back of the passenger side head it is very difficult to do. The 4.6 is easy and everything accessible. Not the case on the 4.0. You can't watch a video or read a swap on the 4.6 and apply that to the 4.0. Very different set up. The set up means you have LESS room to work with despite 2 fewer cylinders
The easiest way to swap on the 4.0 is pull the engine so you can get to the back of the passenger side head. I'm not sure it can be done with the engine in the car, at least not easily

There was a guy over on the collective that has done it, I forget the name. It sounded good but he also had a Vortech with them. Not sure how they were installed.
