is there a reason to change the stock plastic manifold?if you were going to get a vortech supercharger.

be prepared to have to change the Fuel Injector Adapter, when I did mine several of them broke. Its a dealer only part that cost about $6 each part #9G512. You may get lucky and not have any break just fore warning of a possibility.

thanks for the replies folks.i had read somewhere about those manifolds cracking leaking etc.just getting some info.kinda looking before i leap lol.

did your sc kit come with fuel injector o rings?an american muscle review said their's didnt.

The problem you are describing is on '95-98 Mustang GT cars.

The 4.0L mustangs have an issue with the plastic THERMOSTAT housing cracking. That's probably the problem you're talking about. Some simply replace it with a new plastic one from Ford. Other peeps have found and replaced it with an aluminum version or an upgraded plastic one.

if its not leaking I wouldn't bother, my car has over 200k miles on it and its still fine
