Default aluminum thermostat housing

I just purchased the aluminum thermostat housing.
My car has 49K on it with no coolant leaks.
Should I, or do I need to replace the thermostat and temp sensor?
Thanks,

Might as well replace the thermostat, can't hurt to have a new one.

Might as well since you have it opened up already. It's not hard to do, but why do things twice?

Not sure about where the part is made but, you can probably get an OEM thermostat from the dealer if you have any concerns. When I went to replace the housing in my 06, the thermostat I got from Autozone worked just fine for me.

I got the aluminum thermostat housing installed over the weekend.
It's a very nice unit, came with excellent instructions and a helpful hints
email from the manufacturer.
Replaced the thermostat and the temp sensor.
Had to order and wait a few days for throttle body O ring.
Cleaned the TB and put in new O ring.
The housing came with all the thermostat housing and thermostat gaskets & seals.
I took my time so it took a few hours.

My TB was very clean. What oil are you referring to?

nevermind then. My TB was filthy when i removed it at 30k miles and cleaned it out. I installed an oil catch can to catch the extra oil being put back into the plenum. Ever since not even a single drop of oil

Where did you get yours? My car is approaching 50K and wondering if I need to do this. I'd like to see what you got, where, and at what cost, if that is cool.
