Brake issue

I bought some ceramic pads on American Muscle. I put them on both front and rear. I reset the rear piston all the way back with no issues. When I put everything back together and tested it around the block the rear rotors were super hot, I could feel the heat radiating off of them. What could be wrong? They smelled really bad too.

The front were just "hot" but not burning hot. Any ideas what the issue could be? I purchased the back calipers from oreillys in anticipation that they may be bad, but I'm not that good with brake knowledge... If someone could give me some pointers or ideas where I went wrong I'd appreciate it.

Sounds like the calipers are sticking. Did you grease the caliper pins? Bleed the brake system after installing pads?
