Default What's the best cold intake for v6 07mustang and if anyone selling their used one

Im going to start working on my mustang. Its a 07 4.0 mustang. Wanted to know what's a good intake for it I am looking at airaid cold air intake(DRY) and k&n fipk cold air intake

And if anyone is selling a used cold air intake i might be interested

The stock setup IS a cold air intake and it works very well. An aftermarket kit might flow slightly better, but that's only going to give you very minor (like single-digit) performance increases, unless the engine has other modifications. You won't see your MPGs improve, nor will the ol' butt-dyno notice a difference.

In fact, if the new kit's filter is exposed to hot air from the engine bay, it defeats the purpose.

The real benefit of a new cold air intake is how it looks. Some like black, some prefer chrome...

I just run a K & N in stock filter box.
