Default Base that wont stay stock for long

Hey all I have a stock '07 V6, that cant stay stock for long, my issue is that i have very little experience working on cars at all, and I have a limited budget.

Now my question to you is what is a list of performance mods that can be had for less than $1000? The easier the installation the better.

Shop carefully, do the work yourself (lots of youtube videos for guidance), CAI, axle-back mufflers and tune. See if any of your friends have a tuner box you can borrow so you don't have to buy the tuner.

You can't share tuners between cars. Tunes are specific to the code for each car, and the handheld devices lock to the VIN. The only way to use it on a different car is to set the tuned car back to stock first.

But if the tune doesn't match your computer code, trying to load a tune will turn the car into a nice brick.

Best bang for buck would be to install a 3:73 rear end.
