Wink free bama tunes for life only two tunes!(at a time)

No rant here, Just saying that Bama used to give me the option of three tunes when I needed new tunes. Now they only let me specify two tunes. Its free tunes for life so I am thankful I got the free tunes. Bama is AWESOME!https://mustangforums.com/forum/imag...con_sultan.gif

The street tune wasn't much better then stock. You aren't missing anything. The new V2 tunes are much better then the old tunes. It's not the quantity but the quality that matters.

Ama - I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying their tunes as much as I do.

Drop me a line if you don't have out forums discount code and I'll have it shot over.

Alex

@AMAlexLazarus sure I'll take that discount code from ya

I still have more mods to get. As for the V2 tunes, how is that any different from the tunes Bama was putting out last year? Last mod I had was when I put 3.73's in. Got the tunes about Feb/March 2015 and there was no mention of "V2".

The only thing I noticed that was different in the V2 tunes is that they load much faster. That's a good thing. Now I don't bite my nails as much waiting to get past the 77% mark. I've had a flash fail a few times at that point. But the device I use goes into recovery mode and puts the stock tune back on and then you just have to try and load the tune again. Bama is still AWESOME!!!

I just got the V@ tune after changing my wheels and tires and the shifting patterns are the thing I noticed better on the V2 than my previous one(i use the 93R). At 30 MPH it used to constantly switch gears and drove me nuts and under WOT the shifts lagged some. Now at 30 there is no shifting back and forth and at WOT, it shifts quicker. I've only had it out a few times since the new tunes so thus far these are the only 2 things I have noticed.

Almost need to change the topic of this thread to "V2 tunes differences" lol
Well I also noticed my Tach revs up to 6500 RPM when it shifts! With the pedal to the metal, HOLY MOLY! IDK if that's bc I got 4.10's put in though. I have never had an issue with shifting at 30 mph, ever with any of my tunes. And I did get several. In fact, I had to delete some old ones to make room for my new custom ones. And another thing I noticed was that the tires don't chirp as much almost as if the shifting isn't as hard as it used to be. Bama did send me a link to tell them how they did and I could always get new ones lol
