Default cold air questions

the other day i installed a cold air intake on my mustang and the rpms were quickly changing between 1000 and 1800 just at idle. i believe this is do to too much air flow. is this why people say to get a CAI and a tune? instead of a tune, am i able to get better fuel injectors to even out the air to gas ratio?

please let me know what you guys have to say

thank you

You need a tune, changing the injectors won't do anything and will probably make your issues worse.

Definitely get a tuner. I got the Bama one and love what it did to my car.
