Don't we need two different forums? One for the SOHC version and one for non
OHC. This one is a mess. Some are talking about the older 4.0 and others are talking about the SOHC engine. Totally two different motors, both 4.0 V6s.

The SOHC was the only 4.0L offered in the mustang.

like stang says, there was only ever 1 type of 4.0 in the mustang. you are complaining about something without knowing what the hell you are talking about. 9 posts in and you are already complaining about the forum.

I wasn't complaining. I was mistakenly under the impression that the Mustang had two different 4.0 liters over the years. Good to know. Some people on postings are talking about changing a cam as if they had just one.
