Default Have to repair spark plug hole

Found out that the middle plug on the right side (looking at the engine) is stripped and won't seat.

I'm wondering if there will be enough room for the repair kit?

Wow. I looked at the price for the time-sert. $350? LOL

I think I'm going to go with the $30 helicoil kit.

Trouble is a Heli-Coil will not lock into the hole and will come out when you remove the plug next time!!

Dozens of 2003 Mercury Marauder owners have tried both and Time-serts win hands down!!

Good Luck with whatever you do!!

Any idea why the left is so much worse than the right? All other 6 look like the right
