Default 4.0 blown head gasket

My 2008 v6 has been sitting since December of 2016. I’ve got most of the parts I need to do a replacement I just don’t know how to go about it. And I’ve tried asking the mustang club here in Guam, but they just brushed me off. If one of you advanced gentlemen/ ladies on here would be able to give me the steps to pull the heads off and get them shaved down, and put back together I would be forever grateful thank you in advance.

Buy a service manual...

YOU need to call around and see who can do the work on the heads.
There are instructions though, you just need to find them.

If you are a beginner to intermediate mechanic, it's not for you...
Timing will be an issue due to HOW you put these in time, if
you are not well lubed mechanic...

I know HOW to do it, but I won't. I have seen too many people have
timing problems once back together, even done right. Ford couldn't
just make it so it's easy, no, the cams time at TDC on an angle, the
chain has to have the three off colored links to line that up on the sprocket
marks.

The information on all this is even here in the forums...

where in the forums how far back would I have to go and is it still a bad idea if I’m doing this gasket replacement with an experienced mechanic buddy of mine? Just truly curious for the shaving of the heads I will be taking them to a machine shop. But is this really just wasting time and resources I miss driving my mustang and if I don’t get it up and running before the end of the month my grandpa is going to scrap it🤦🏽*♂️😢. Would truly like to know if it’s a money pit or something I could take care of and pass down to my boy.
