Default Codes Popping after changing clutch

Good morning everyone. This is my first post here so don't beat me up too bad lol.

I have a 2009 Mustang V6 with a manual transmission. I just changed the clutch out on it a couple weeks ago(it actually sat in the garage for a few months with the battery disconnected and some of the components out of it. Anyways, it is back together and I have made sure everything is connected.

I have a lot of codes popping for the CEL and once I start driving it pops up the wrench icon on the instrument panel which I guess is "limp home mode". The car seems to drive fine other than not having the power it should in first gear after the limp home mode light comes on.

I took it to autozone and had them used the ODB scanner and the following codes popped which didn't pop before the clutch was changed:

P0102 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low input
P0135 Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0141 Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0155 Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 Sensor 1
P0161 Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 Sensor 2
P0403 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit Malfunctioning
P0443 Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Valve Circuit Malfunction
P0446 EVAP System Vent Control Circuit

I had them reset the codes and once I drove away the limp home mode light came on and the next time I started the car the codes popped again. I'm kind of at a loss as to what could have caused all these codes to pop. Any ideas???

When you did the clutch you may have pinched some of the wires. All of those codes could happen when putting things back together and knocking a connection loose, pinching a wire, or swapping the wiring for the sensors from one bank to the other.

Thanks for that. I’ll go through and double check all of the wires and connections. I hope I didn’t pinch anything while putting it back on.

Pinched or not reconnected properly. When you find the harness, disconnect it and check for bent or loose pins. Then reconnect it.

I would go back thru and check the wiring for your o2 sensor circuit...all the way to your ecm..and check fuses..check the wiring under the ecm..it sounds like a short circuit somewhere else..the sluggishness is because the car doesn't know what to do with the info its being given..so i woupd start with th 02 sensor circuit..and if you can .get the freeze frame data..that will give u a good idea of where to start..that's the data the ecm records which would cause the wrench light to illuminate

Sorry for the late late late response everyone. This whole situation was caused by the Eng2 fuse. I’d replace it and it would blow and that would throw it into Limp mode. I took it to a shop and they had their electrical expert check it and there was a short going to one of the systems that the Eng2 fuse runs. Took him about 15 hours and a million fuses to figure out exactly what was going on and where the short was. Apparently the Eng 2 fuse runs I think 8 major components and then on the V8 version it runs around 12. Seems to be a design flaw by Ford. Anyways, he said he learned a lot about it and he ran all new wiring to the components and only charged me for 5 hours of labor (nothing for the wires) because it was a big learning experience for him. It has been running fine for almost a year now without going into limp home mode. It cleared all the codes except one of the O2 sensors but that is because I actually need to replace it.
