Default 4.0L V6 Transmission Grinding

I have a 2009 Ford Mustang with a v6 and the manual transmission. I have found it hard to find anything about this transmission as there were not many cars produced with the manual v6. My transmission has been grinding and slipping out of second no matter what I do. I heard the shift boot that was blocked road noise would fix the issue and it did nothing. I have heard the syncros are bad, the spline is bent, and the transmission should just be replaced all together. Does anyone have any information on this issue and any way to fix it.

had mine do that with 5th gear. I had to physically hold the shifter for it to stay in gear and could not do any hard acceleration or it would pop out. It was the syncro. I found a junkyard transmission for $75 and replaced it.
