That's not typical at all.

I can testify that my car with 4.30's pulled MUCH much harder in 4th and 5th gear on the highway than my 4.10's did.

Are you sure you just weren't teasing him and letting him catch up a bit? [8D]

Maybe a little. But his car really pulls hard on the middle and upper end of 4th. Second and third gear are my strong gears.
