I could tell when I put on the 17x10.5 Chrome 03 Cobra style wheels and 315's and my car was stock.
It was slower...
I would love to get rid of them and find some as light or lighter than stock [&o]

they probaby only weight what, 10lbs more? for the 2 rear ones, if that, 10lbs extra is nothing, if you like them get them dont worry about ganning a few lbs...

I wish I would have weighed them, but they are a LOT more than 10lbs a piece!!!

but If I was to do it all over again, I would still do it, they look SO much better

You will lose a little bit of performance but not much. The wider tires should help of course w/ traction. The big thing w/ a performance lose is getting real big tires. Getting something like 20" rims or bigger will hurt performance.

22s on a stang will be bad hahahaa

10 lbs of unsprung rotating mass is a lot. Imagine spinning an empty bucket tied to a 3 foot string over your head, now add just one pound of water in there and try and spin it.

I could see it hurting performance from a roll...but from a dig it will improve due to traction. I know that the ****ty tires my car came with (whoever had it b4 me didnt care about tires) are so crappy that I cant floor first gear in my car even if I take off slow then ease into it. And when I shift into second gear I break loose so bad it fishtails. They are some POS Daytona something tires....decent amount of tread left, just ****ty brand. lol

Those are one of the ugliest wheels that came from the factory, no offense beheivjer.

Get rid of those things!
