Default throttle body?

I have seen a few posts recently talking about TB & Plenums. I am aware of the minimal HP gains but, I was wondering if you loose Hp throughout the low and mid range RPM's. I remember reading an article ( not sure which one) but it said you only gain that 1-2 HP around your peak RPM's and you loose it in the low and mid range. Does anyone know if this is true? If it isn't could someone let me know if a 70 or 75 is better for a N/A w/ plenum and other basic bolt ons. Thanks

I think mid-range hp stays about the same until high-rpms where the tb/plenum combo gives you a couple hp. The best thing youll get out of the combo is better throttle response. Also, 70 mm tb is fine...75 mm is overkill.

If I leave the stock 65mm on I will most likely only be loosing the extra throttle response then. So now I need to decide if throttle response is worth $175. Ok Thanks

Check out this forum I posted for you guys with these questions. Has links to dyno charts for TB and Plenum combos. No you do not lose low end HP or Torque. Also, no a 75mm IS NOT AN OVERKILL, just read the forum post and ckeck out the links. It will answer your questions. Make sure you look at all the dyno tests too.
