Transmission fluid question?

I purchased a T-56 6-speed transmission for my 2000 GT and wondered what kind of transmission fluid to put in it. Anyone know if RoyalPurple Synchromesh would be compatible? Thanks.

read your car manual. it will tell you in there. most likely its the dexron/mercon III stuff.

Look on www.svtperformance.com
There people running RoyalPurple Synchromesh then theres others running GM Syncro mesh transmission fluid
Theres others that they run, but looks like those would be some of the big ones

Dexron III is used stock, in the t56 trany's in the cora's
