Ok this is confusing me. I have an Autometer Volt meter in my car. I turn the car on aux and it is around 11 (AMPs?). I turn on the car and it stays around 12-14. When I fire the car up the battery light will flicker or stay on for about 5-10 minutes then turn off. If I get on the car hard ... it will go back on. Is this seriously my battery or something else?

It could be a failing alternator, or a slipping belt. Your alternator may be coming unplugged, too... I had that happen on our V10 excursion... the battery light would come on and off and flicker, turns out the plug for the alternator had just started to come loose. Pushed it back on tight and no more problems.
