does a Intake system cause a whinning sound
i just installed a new C&L intake system in my 2004 svt cobra. i know with the supercharger it makes a whinning sound when i hit the pedal, but now with the intake system it makes a way louder whinning noise...is that usual?? or did i do something wrong

taking off air silencer will make it louder, most cai kits get rid of silencer and are louder, my friends eclypse sounds like he has a supercharger since the whine type noise so i say your fine maybe ask someone with the same cai as you on a cobra
