Okay i think im goin with a kb. should i go with the 1.7L or should i really think big and get the 2.2...

With the 2.2 you have to get forged internals, which will cost alot of money. But if you want a rediculously fast car, go for the 2.2.

well you could get the 2.2 and just run low boost, but you'll still need the cobra r hood and a couple other things it doesnt include. itll run you about 8 grand all together for the 2.2. me personally, id love to have it...but i can get a vortech intercooled for half that and be done with it.

i just want a 1.7l im not even tryin to forge my bottom end. running low boost 9psi isnt that bad. i mean im not in competition here... just a daily driver. i go out to the vegas track every now and then to run times.. and just run.

Go with the 1.7L kit at 9PSI Intercooled and ull be just fine on the stock block. However go over that and ur gonna be hurtin. If u decide later on down the road to build a new motor or forge the original, u can still use the same S/C cause the kit goes up to 14PSI. With 9PSI, Full Exhaust, CAI, and TB, ull pry be pushin around 415- 420HP.
