Default Problem with accufab tb and plenum!!

Just installed it and now my rpms hang (i cant stand that) the stock one did that too and i did the trick w/ the iac to get rid of it but its doing it again and also the car idles at 900 rpm instead of 700, anyone know how to fix this. Do ppl with this have the same problem??

Does it idle consistently at 900RPM? Or does it spike/drop ever?

i believe you can set the idle on the TB.

I didn't have that problem with mine at all but I have heard of that happening. I would check the throttle position senser to make sure you put it on the plenum properly. One guy said he broke his when he put it on.

Thats what I was thinking happened if it doesnt surge or anything.... Possibly accidentally raised the idle?

Mine never drops down to 700 instantly, it goes down gradually, thats a function of the PCM for emissions. As for the 900 rpm idle, loosen the screws on the TPS, twist it to the left, hold it, and re-tighten the screws.

I tried to adjust the tps and it dosent move much and it didnt do anything for the idle, and it stays at 900 rpm, no surging. and the screw to adjust the actual tb i set all the way down so the tb closes all the way!!

Hmm, I know another guy had the same problem but I was stumped cuz he tried a few things that didn't solve the problem. My set up works fine though. Does it do the same thing with the stock set up but not as drastic?

I know it would be a pain but I would try to put it back to stock first to see if it goes back to normal. It's really not that much work but I know that's what I would do. It is really freaky though cuz you're really not changing much. I wonder if you called Accufab they would have a quick answer for you. I know this has happened before.
