the only mods to it is exhaust other than the wheels. My 04 has 28000 miles on it. and i really don't like the 99 transmission. It is very loose.

Not worth it. It would take quite a lot of work to make sure they did get the power problem fixed. If you drive your car as much as I do you will hit the 100,000 mark well before a year passes. Too much mileage. Save and get an 03 Cobra : - )

I think I would keep the GT... The cobra had a TSB, not a full recall I dont think, but it was putting out way less HP then it was advertised for. If that hasnt been done, your GT would smoke it through the 1/4. Also trying to launch an IRS vehicle is much harder then a solid axle. Lots of cobra owners are swaping it out for the regular 8.8 from the GT and upgrading the axles.

id keep the gt, its worth more and you could sell it for 16 grand or so and use that towards an 03/04 cobra. your car is sexy either way, i wouldnt rush into anything, especially the trade for the 99 cobra.
