Default Since we're talkin tires - Your opinion on run-flat rubber

I have Eagle run-flats right now and wanted to know your opinion. It saved my *** once and I think they're great. P.S.: should I get rid of spare tire and jack to lose a few pounds?

I have the yokohama ones in storage. got them through an employee discount but haven't had a chance to get them mounted on the car. they only cost me like $250 for all four with the employee discount

since were talkin tires? who was talkin tires?

i think runflats are great if you have the money...but they are freaking expensive...not for me.

and yea...maybe take out the spare tire and stuff at the track...but personally id leave it in for everyday driving...just in case. although for that matter you have runflats...so...yea...sure...take it out. lol sorry i pretty much typed my whole thought process.

Why not just get standard tires with road hazard? it's only like 25 a tire. I learned that the hard way. Thatway if you get a flat and it can't be fixed, you just get a brand new tire in its place

i think with road hazard though a brand new tire is not free. it is prorated so it is a ton cheaper, but you still hafta pay i think. but maybe i misunderstood.
