May buy a cobra.
Well right now i have a 2000 mustang gt with 20k miles on her. Im thinking about trading it in for either a 01 cobra that has 40k miles and is priced at 18,500. Or a 2003 cobra with 35k miles and priced at 25k. Now i know that the 03 cobra is a lot quicker but is there a lot of differences except for the superchager and trans. Would it be better to get the 01 and throw a supercharger on it or get the 03 and call it a day. Thanks for the replys you guys are always helpful.

Thanks alot guys i was leaning towards the 03. I should be able to talk him down to about 21-22k and he said he would give me 15k for mine so it might not be all that bad of a deal.

Another thing i wanted to ask how much horsepower can the 01 cobra block handle. I know they say the 00gt block is good to about 400rwhp before changing internals what about the 01 cobra? Thanks again for the responses guys.

So if i went the route with the 01 cobra with supercharger and wanted to put down around 450-475 rwhp i would not have to change anything on the car. I know i would have to get a tune but stuff like tranny, internals, rear, ect would that have to be changed.

yes you could supercharge the 01 with no problems not really bearing down on the engine, but the 03 cobra is so bulletproof and its a newer car and it looks in my opinion way meaner than the 01 cobra, there is just no comparision the 03/04 cobra's are bad to the bone.. buy the 03 cobra, get a pulley, gears, exhaust, dyno tune, and you won't have any doubts of why you got it
