Default I'm Lazy!!

Well, i had some extra free time yesterday, so i finally installed a remote starter/alarm/lighting sytem. Man i love it, it was 26 degrees this morning so i cranked my car, and by the time i got outside it was warm and toasty. I hate cold weather, and especially cold leather, so this system is awesome. What do you guys think?!?

yeah i've had the same thing on the last two of my cars, but its a bitch to find a place that will install it on a manual. But, my last car got messed up because of the remote start it fryed the coil over and ford wouldn't pay for it even though it was under warranty because it was from the alarm. So i don't want to mess wth them any more, plus i don't drive my stang in bad wheather ne ways so i wouldn't say need to start it to warm it up i just start it to start it.

Well i have a friend that used to install them for a living, so he kinda taught me,but he still helps me when installing one. We put one on my five-speed camaro last year, and its was great you just to be sure it was neutral before you cranked it or your were screwed. Not that expensive thoug if you do it yourself , just takes for freakin ever. Each time it cost me about 75 dollars and a few hours of labor, put in by my friend and I.

well 06 you have an auto so pretty much anything that has a remote start will work. I had mine on a manual and clifford is the only system i could go with.

well theres going to be difference in brands just like any other product out there. The difference would be quality and maybe the distance you can start it from, but they all will do the same thing.
