Ok i have a chance to pick up a catless h pipe for $50. I was really wanting to go with a x pipe, but this summer i'm installing full lengths with my new heads. What do you guys think, should i pick it up? Either way i'm going with a new mid pipe till i get my full length setup up, and its hard to be 10whp for 50 bucks.

well i need more info. What kind of h-pipe is it for all you know it could be your stock h-pipe you already have.

If its a good aftermarket midpipe I dont see why you shouldn't pick it up, especially if you were going to use a catless pipe in the first place. I will never use a catless pipe but I would probably buy it just to re-sell it. lol

I dont have to pass emmisions, so the cats are going. Its a bbk, and its a local guy who's selling it. Actually heres another question. Will a catless x pipe from a 99+ work on my 98'? I have another guy locally who's willing to sell me his catless x from his 01 for $100. I dont think it'll fit, but i'm wanting a second opinion.

I say wait untill you get long tubes.. You are going to have to get rid of that midpipe that you are wanting to buy in favor of a shorty when the time comes.

Yeah just wait, that's $50 that could go towards other things. If your planning on doing heads and full lengths then that means a new mid-pipe is needed so just wait...

i want more power now..lol... its a good deal, and i pretty much could sell it for just as much as i bought it for. Screw it, i've got nothing better to do right now.
