How to tell if a Cobra has been fixed under recall?

How to tell if a Cobra has been fixed under recall?

Is there any way to tell if a 1999 Cobra has been fixed under the recall that affected their performance? Would it say whether it has been fixed or not on carfax or something? If I am going to buy this Cobra I would like to know that I dont have to pay a couple thousand dollars just to get it to perform like a stock Cobra should.... The vin is 1FAFP46V3XF184492 in case that matters...

wouldnt ford fix the cobra for free since its a TSB?

Generally shows up in a Carfax. Ford will also have history of it.

Ummmm no, if that were the case I know about 100 people that would be free t3650 trannys every month... It would only be fixed for free if it was under warranty.....

Also an aftermarket intake manifold for the Cobras? Maybe I will subtract the price of an aftermarket manifold from the price I am willing to pay the seller and tell her it is needed. The car has been on autotrader for more than half a year now so I pretty much have her in the palm of my hand...
