Im currently looking for spacers myself. You have a couple options if you want 1 inch wide spacers. Maximum Motorsports offers a 1 inch wide spacer with studs incorporated in them, but their a little pricey, ive seen them over 200 bucks. Other brands are just a spacer with holes in them that fit over the wheel studes for around 70 bucks, but any spacer 1/2 inch and over will require longer studs. Im going to be buying 3/4 inch spacers from baer. Im getting longer studs from maximum motorsports.

They look good, but I've asked the seller if they locate on the hub center or on the studs.

As I'm sure you know if they don't locate on the hub center they will stress the studs which could cause quite severe damage and even an accident if they snap and the wheel comes off.

I'll let you know what their reply is.

I have 1/4", I personally feel that's as far as you should go.

Without getting to technical, it's a matter of physics just too much displacement of the weight of the car on the lug nuts.

I agree. Spacers are fine for a show car or cruiser but I would not use them if you are planning on any hard launches. They can also cause vibrations and make it feel as though a tire is not balanced properly.

I'm going to get the hubcentric spacers which locate on the hub and are bolted, you then bolt the wheel to the new studs so there's no extra load on the standard studs.

Like these:
