What about the computer? Does that need to be replaced as well? And the chip? How about the tranny? Cobras came with a stronger one than the GT's of that year. Also, the cobra came stock with a 3.27 rear end. You may have to get a full exhaust also. you'll have a hell of a car though.

I know I would need new headers. I can use the cat-back and x-pipe from my GT. I think if I go 99 or newer I would need a new computer but I dont know all the details yet!

the wiring harness is different (from my haynes book), so you would need that and more then likely a computer. The T45 was the same in all the SN95 gt/cobra's and the early new edge cobras/gt's. I think they switched like in the middle of 00.
