man.. I sooo love your car. You have no idea how much im lusting over it right now [:@]

It looks almost identical to my old one........

Anyways a GT does have a limited slip rear end. It wont do much good when neither tire gets traction though. And with the horse power you have when it transfers torque from one tire to the tire with more traction.. all its gonna do is break it loose also and send you for a ride. lol.

wow i swear i read somewhere the had a solid axle but and i'v never found traction i always seem to get sideways, oh well i like nothing like getting sideways through third. thats one of the reasons i love it so much. i'll hafta get a pic of it in a burnout and post it. i'm gonna hafta get a set of nitto tires first so i get more smoke. but i plan on hangin on to it at least till the 07 gt500 make there appearance, then i may hafta part with it.

i always thought that they had the same t-lok. however you should hook up better, a solid axle will hook up better then an IRS.
Thats actually not true. An IRS squats and transfers weight much better than a solid axle, but you just can't put any power to them, or they'll break.

The IRS is the first thing that needs attention in a non-SC Cobra. Money invested unwisely into the wrong modification direction is a waste, IMHO. Crossover brace, diff centering plate, and a whole lot of bushing replacement in the rear suspension makes the factory IRS the superior choice design it should've came from Ford as. Mild drop, 4.10s, and a Kenne Bell 1.7L exceed the potential of platform vs. platform wars to define one clear winner by design.

It was Chevy's. I was wrong about Chrysler. Their's was Sure grip.

Chebby - Positraction

Pontiac: Safe-T-Track

Ford: Equa-Lock and Trac-Lok

American Motors Corporation: Twin-Grip

Mopar: Sure Grip

Ferrari: E-Diff

It's all the same thing. Posi is just kind of the industry standard lingo now.

Try LCA'a on the pimp mo pile. LOL just teasing, LCA'a will help the *** end hook up even better. the stock arms were described by mmff as some place between lafable and junk. I put the steedas on mine and wow the best mod I have done.
