THEORETICALLY (depends on the driver too, I know) what would a 98 GT 5spd do in the 1/4 with a s/c @8psi, Nittos, tune, 75mm TB. The car would have about 360-370hp flywheel.

Yes it is IC. It's a prochrager. Guaranteed 55% minimum increase in hp for the 98GT. 123 or so hp increase on 8psi. It's not unbelievable at all. S/C alone would put it at 348hp plus a tune is what? maybe 7-11hp? Makes perfect believable sense to me.

Guessing here that its approx 315 RWHP, so I would guess 12.70s-12.60s?? This would be on a drag radial with a set of gears to go along with it.

the only reason im saying its not believable is from seeingi dynos before with 97GT's on the boards from a recent post saying it dynoed somethin like the 280rwhp range....

Well as you can see it says 55-60% increase...thus meaning 55% minimum guaranteed. 225x55%=123.75+225=348.75 so like I said 360hp+ or so. The numbers don't lie. I don't know why you only saw the 28Xrwhp dynos...

probably mid to upper 12's if launched properly but with gears it could be closer to 12

Dont put alot of thought into manufactures estimated HP gains. Its all a bunch of ****. I guess u think that your K&N filter gave you 15hp???? No f'in way. The number do lie. And dont get all that crap and forget suspension.

I think you would be in the 13's with a NPI GT sc'd at 8psi with no supporting mods. pretty much youll be sucking it up until you get suspension, intake and exhaust. The tires will help a bit. But i dont think you would ever see 12.99

the 98 GT's had 225 at the crank man, thats like 205 at the wheel and the 55%, 112.75+205= 317 hp at the wheel. sounds alil better there cuz the car has wouldnt be that much hp increase and everything lies about HP, a cat back is suppose to give to around 25 hp as it says on sites but really gives you almost none. so 290 would some just about right, that would prob be in the low to mid 13's considering the 03-04 cobras r 12.9 with 390 at the crank.
