well with mustangs they have a steering column and shifter. those high end cars i believe are all electronic fly by wire steering and shifting. All mustangs give a little vibration through both. mainly because there a MUSCLE CAR.

Nothing out of the ordiary with some extra vibration in the shifter. You ever wonder why the stock shifter feels so spongy? It is because they used a lot of rubber in the factory shifter to deal with with vibration and noise. Aftermarket shifters do not have this rubbery feel yet suffer from more vibration at higher rpm, but is is perfectly normal... Not sure how the shifter and the steering vibration are related though...

shorter shifts, thats about it, and because its alot stiffer, you can adjust height and angle of handle as well so.
i mean there is ever 3rd and 4th gear springs, you can feel them give a slight push on shifts.. idk tho the 3650 isnt the greatest.. well at least the synchros or what not.

If you want to kill the vibration, use the stock lever with the rubber bushings. I bought my tri-ax used/new on e-bay for $80. without a lever. I just mounted my stocker in the lowest holes on the shifter. Short throw, comfortable position for me, no bad vibes, quiet.

I like the vibrations on a shifter actually it gives you the feel of a muscle car -- sitting on a beast feel
