I had mine bone stock, well other than a K&N filter and a set of weld in flowmasters, run right to 150 MPH like 4 times.
According to the gear calculator websites I hit 162 with exhaust and intake boltons, u/d pullys, and 3.73s.

well the 99 GT is stock 327s . i remeber maxing my 4th gear out at 120mph . so in short, i doubt this guy gets to 145 in 4th gear . u should call him on his BS, then make him take u for a ride, and laugh at him when he only gets to 120 in 4th gear

I don't think the 5spds are governed.
I had mine bone stock, well other than a K&N filter and a set of weld in flowmasters, run right to 150 MPH like 4 times.

Very odd.. All of the cars SHOULD BE governed... atleast thats what ive been told.. You could be right idk i coulda swarn all cars were governed unless you had a chip. My 99 tahoe is goverend at 90mph speedo goes to 100. My accord is govered at 125 speedo goes to 140...

what the hell , ive never seen OR heard of this 145 in 4th gear stuff until right now lol ... i would like to though , if anyone can get a video or something of a stock 99 GT doing 145 in 4th gear, id love to see it , i didnt even know it could do that lol
