Default Ok code3gt what elce to buy

Block & Engine work:
.020 over, forged rods, pistons & crank
UD Pullys

Head Work:
Stage II Cam & Springs
P&P at the local shop

Fuel & Intake:
Stock PI Intake
BBK upper plenum & 75MM TB
Trueflow CAI w/80mm MAF (I know your oppinion on the MAF)
24# Injectors & matching fuel pump

Exhaust:
BBK Shorty headers (emmission reasons)
offroad x pipe
Borla Cat back

Transmission & Gears:
Stock W/B&M short throw kit
3.73's (fuel economy and it's a daily driver)

Computer:
Diablosport Tuner (will do a dyno tune when I'm ready)

Tell me am I missing anything before I start to build it? no I'm not going to do FI or bottle

Be careful having 2v heads ported at a "local shop". You defintaly don't want to be the first 2v they have done. I have heard time and time again that 2v heads are pretty picky on what they port and what they don't.

I did ask if they had done them before. I think they said yes.... doh well if the flow is wrong it's just a reason to get new ones.

What kinda numbers are you looking to make??

I would look into a aftermarket intake manifold and some heads that are already worked, with larger valves etc.

go to sean hyland and pick up a set of his heads. very good and he has spent alot of money on R&D more than VT and patriot and the like

Sounds like a good plan so far. SHM is too inconsistent with their quality and customer service is very lacking. I called and spoke with them when I was researching my engine build and I was NOT impressed. What is your goal and what kind of car do you want??? 1/4 mile daily driver? Ley me know...

SO long as you stay away from patriot I think you will be happy with almost any aftermarket 2v head. I wish I had a set.
