Default Bullit brake upgrade?

I was reading an old 5.0 mag and they were saying this company offers a buillit brake uprade for 99-04 GTs for like 350 bucks or so. Would this be a worthwhile brake upgrade? Are the buillt brakes realy any better than a stock GTs?

Its 999 vs 399 though...

Here is the kit:

Bullitt front 13" brake kit, includes 2 Bullitt brake calipers with mounting brackets, front brake pad set, 2 brake hoses with banjo bolts and washers, and 2 Brembo brake rotors, perfect for 1994-04 Mustangs!, limited quantity, new...view

Is it worth it at all?

I don't think you can go wrong with that set up. I mean the GT brakes are sufficient, I guess it all depends on how quickly you want to stop

Yeah they are worth it. I just had mine done. Put on the Green Stuff pads with them. A little squeaking at first but it dies out.

They're probably alright. I went with a Baer set up and it was nice. The car stopped on the dime. The only thing is if you go with slotted or cross drilled rotors, you hear them everytime you brake. But you won't have those issues with the Bullitts.

Yes, it is worth it. I have them on my stang now. I guess it's about time to remove the "To be installed..." from my sig seeing as I now have them 100% installed

I did a write-up on the whole process, front and back. https://mustangforums.com/m_1112743/tm.htm

Stangsuspension has the full kits. http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...?idproduct=825

Ask them to swap the Cobra calipers with bullitt ones, they will probably be able to do that for you.

Edit: Front goes up to 13", rear goes up to 11.65"
